Evening Speaker

The evening speaker for the 2008 Family Camp is Pastor Michael Brandt. Pastor Brandt was born and raised in a Christian home in South Dakota.

Pastor Brandt is an ordained  pastor in the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations (AFLC) He has served churches in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Washington and South Dakota. Most recently Pastor Brandt was senior pastor at Abiding Savior Free Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls, South Dakota where he served for 16 years.

Currently, Pastor Brandt is Director of Shepherding the Shepherds. This ministry, which is overseen by the congregation of Abiding Savior, is designed to provide spiritual care to pastors as well as elders and deacons. The vision of Shepherding the Shepherds is a result of Pastor Brandt's vision to enable pastors to avoid neglecting their own physical, spiritual and emotional health. His ministry has provided Pastor Brandt with the opportunity to minister to pastors and other through seminars and retreats across the country.

Pastor Brandt, and wife Colleen currently live in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
